Senior Production Planner

Position Overview
The Senior Production Planner plays a crucial role in managing and integrating the production planning processes for Sheet Metal Fabrication operations. This position acts as a Process Owner and key driver of the ANCA Performance System (APS) at the departmental level, ensuring production aligns with customer demands, quality standards, capacity constraints, and organizational cost targets. The planner will also lead improvement projects and cost reduction initiatives in line with the APS Roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer demand and provide production capability feedback through the ERP system.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by setting up planning parameters and monitoring execution.
- Coordinate production workflows and prioritize activities to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct daily job tracking to ensure production aligns with approved plans and budget targets.
- Monitor ERP outputs, analyze production data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage improvement projects aligned with APS pillars and report on outcomes.
- Coach entry-level planners in planning processes and ERP systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of educational qualifications and hands-on experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a Production Planning role.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Demonstrated people management capabilities.
