Purpose:
The aim of the ANCA Employee Referral Program (ERP) is to encourage our people to act as ambassadors for ANCA and refer candidates who they believe will be a good fit for a position with the company. Employees who refer a candidate who is offered a role with ANCA may be eligible for a referral bonus of up to $1,500.
Scope:
This Policy applies to ANCA employees who refers a candidate for a permanent or fixed term role at ANCA.
Policy Elements:
Who can participate in the ERP?
All employees are eligible to participate in the ERP, with the exception of:
- Senior Management, i.e. Directors, CEO, Executives.
- Human Resources and Recruitment team
- Hiring managers for positions they are directly or indirectly responsible for. Note: they can refer for other positions in different departments or teams.
Who can be referred?
Referred Candidates must:
- Have the qualifications/experience required for the role.
- Be eligible to work in the applicable location.
- Have not have applied in the last six months for a position with ANCA via any source (e.g. via agency, direct application, etc).
- The Referred Candidate will go through the same selection process as other applicants and will be required to provide additional referees other than the referring employee.
How to refer a candidate
If you know someone who may be a good fit for a position at ANCA:
- Send their resume and covering letter (if applicable), together with the completed Employee Referral Form, to HR-AU@anca.com.
- Each employee referral will be closely evaluated, however there is no guarantee the Referred Candidate will be interviewed or employed.
- Information regarding the hiring process, discussions and decisions will remain confidential between the Referred Candidate and the hiring manager.
- There is no limit to the number of referrals an employee can make.
Referral Bonus
If ANCA hires the candidate referred by you, you may be eligible for a Referral Bonus subject to the following:
- ANCA offers employment to the Referred Candidate;
- The Referred Candidate accepts the offer of employment from ANCA and successfully completes their 6 month probation period;
- The referring employee remains employed by ANCA and has not tendered their resignation at the time the Referral Bonus is payable;
- Only one Referral Bonus will be paid per Referred Candidate. If more than one employee has referred the candidate, only the first employee who referred the candidate will be entitled to the Referral Bonus;
- The Referred Candidate is employed for any position with ANCA within six months of their initial referral.
- The Referral Bonus is subject to payment of applicable tax and superannuation.
Any Referral Bonus due (less any applicable tax and superannuation) will be paid into the referring employee’s nominated bank account in the first available payrun after the Referred Candidate has successfully completed their 6 month probation period. Referral Bonuses will be shown as a separate entry on their payslip.
This Policy and the ERP may be varied by ANCA from time to time.
