About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Commissioning Technician (Afternoon Shift) to join our team located in our Bayswater Head Office.
Reporting to the Commissioning Supervisor, this role will see you commissioning ANCA machines and accessories. This role requires a solid understanding of industrial equipment and how sub systems interface with each other. A background in industrial equipment service and support will be well suited to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the production team to provide timely support to improve the production flow through accurate reporting of production issues.
- Eliminate manual errors to progress towards 'right first time' through fault recording and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy through the correct use of test equipment, check sheets and software.
- Ensure quality issues are addressed during the commissioning process and faults are not passed on to the next department.
- Apply manufacturing methods using Lean principles to streamline the manufacturing system and processes with support and guidance.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- A Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic post trade qualification or a Trade qualification with technical fault finding in a manufacturing environment.
- An ability to apply Engineering principals to the design, specification and configuration of manufacturing systems and equipment.
- Basic CNC programming skills.
- Analytical competency in fault finding, decision making and issue resolution.
- The ability to read and understand schematic diagrams.
- Experience in the use of Metrology equipment.
- Sound knowledge of all aspects of industrial equipment construction, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings components and circuits.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Robotics knowledge is highly regarded.
