About the Role
This hands-on role is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate movement of materials across receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, and dispatch. You’ll play a key part in supporting manufacturing and shipping deadlines, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to a clean, organised, and compliant stores environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform material handling, receiving, warehousing, picking, issuing, packing, and dispatching
- Operate ERP systems (QAD) and RF devices for inventory transactions
- Maintain FIFO principles and ensure data accuracy at bin and location level
- Conduct stock checks, investigate discrepancies, and support inventory control
- Prepare materials for subcontract shipping and internal production
- Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities
- Supply consumables and support production teams
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Australian citizenship
- Minimum 2 years’ warehousing experience
- Forklift licence
- Driver’s licence
- Experience using ERP systems and RF devices
- Safe and competent use of material handling equipment
- Working knowledge of inventory systems and stock control
Preferred Skills
- Medium or heavy vehicle licence
- Ability to interpret technical documentation
- Experience with QAD
- Strong MS Office skills
- Ability to work autonomously and resolve issues
- Cost awareness and continuous improvement mindset
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar, experience within as AS9100 organisation
