Position Overview
The Graduate Manufacturing Engineer will be integral to the planning, execution, and oversight of various manufacturing processes across multiple projects. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining sophisticated manufacturing processes that meet performance specifications while adhering to strict delivery timelines.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, effective communication with stakeholders, and resource management are key components of ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Equipment SOPs within the Manufacturing Execution System.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance efficiency.
- Design and test production tooling, working closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Promote a safe and inclusive work environment, aligning with the company’s culture, vision, and values.
- Assist in maintaining quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting the quality management system.
- Contribute to health and safety initiatives, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Maintain a customer-focused mindset while fostering professional relationships with team members.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in manufacturing processes and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to team success.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to hold Australian Defense security clearance.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.
- A continuous improvement mindset and strong analytical skills.
